non-striving in mindfulness is a practice of taking a pause from the incessant stream of thoughts, from the constant rush to reach a destination, a break away from the push and pull of achieving and the drive for perfectionism. it is an invitation to switch from "doing" to "being". it is a state of being open to the present moment without wishing to be elsewhere or craving for things to be different. It is about being in the here and now with compassion and an open mind. it is about reconnecting to the who and where we are without anticipation of any future outcomes. embracing non-striving can help liberates us from chronic stress, emotional fatigue and self-criticism."
